Google secretly working on Android Tablet PDF Print E-mail

This post in the New York Times blog reports that Google CEO Eric Schmidt told some people at a party that they are working on tablet PC running Android and Andoid only. Google and Apple seem to abandon their old friendship in more and more areas. While Apple's CEO Steve Jobs recently announced that they would introduce a mobile advertisement platform for the iPhone, Eric Schmidt was telling some people at a party in Los Angeles that they are working on a tablet PC running Android - and this device will run Adobe contents. The last statement might not be that important, but shows how much the two companies have become keen competitors.

Rumors about Google's tablet PC are not new, but so far experts assumed that such a tablet would run Google's other Linux based OS Chrome OS. Schmidt's recent comments give those rumors a new direction...
