They guys over at android-x86.org have published a new stable build of the 1.6 branch. Here are the key features of this release
- Camcorder works. You can record video and sound
- An experimental support of 3G USB modem
- mksh, a better shell is added to replace android's dumb sh.
- busybox is added to provide useful command line tools.
- Touchscreen calibration (back port from eclair-x86).
- Third party apps are updated.
- A lot of bug fixes.
You can download a CD ISO image or an image ready to boot from a memory stick in the download section or from android-x86.org. Thank you guys, for your great work! |
